I've owed these guys a review for years I think. Sorry for the delay. For reference, I have a 2005 Lexus RX330.SFCS is fantastic and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. They don't have the cheapest rate but I don't have time or patience or, frankly, MONEY for "cheaper" mechanics who end up costing more because they're incompetent. Here are some signs that they're competent mechanics and super people:-I've never had a repeat problem with a problem they've fixed. They really do fix things!-They're honest about whether you really need to fix something and will actually go through the decision with you point by point if it's iffy.-Their estimates are usually spot on. I had them come in under the estimate once on a $2500 job.-Matthew will geek out on how cars work. He'll show you broken parts from out of your car, he'll show you exploded views of how your transmission goes together, he'll give you background on how different components of emissions are handled inside cars so they don't pollute, etc. He'll also, thankfully, ask you if you feel like being bored before he launches into a big explanation. I always do, of course, because I'm a geek too, and I really appreciate understanding what's going on with my car. And I also appreciate that when it's someone's passion they'll automatically be better at it than someone who just does it as their job, and will be easier to work with.-They love dogs. Anyone who loves dogs is, by definition, a good person. So take your car here, get it fixed, have a chat, and hug Ronin the friendly shop dog while you're at it.
Thanks so much Christine! It is always the best when you bring in Conrad (her dog). Ronin (our dog) loves to play with him. Matt P
