Update May 3, 2013: this time our BMW 530i had a really unusual problem. A resistor on the blower unit was overheating when the AC was switched on. The resistor was actually setting the cabin air filter on fire. Matt and Tom figured out the problem and fixed it, charging us a price low enough that we decided to keep the car a while longer. Great work, terrific communications, and a price that worked for us.

Hands down this place is AMAZING across the board. The staff is friendly and efficient. The mechanics knowledgeable and thorough. I took my Mazda to them and they were very helpful in explaining what my car needed and how we were going to get it all done. Turnaround times were also great. I cannot say how much I appreciate the care and concern that they have taken with my car and my safety when driving it.

The check engine light on my 2008 Jetta came on so I called the shop first thing the next morning. Thomas told me that he would find the time to check the diagnostic code if I brought it in. Fifteen minutes later, they had it hooked up to the system, and figured out that I needed an O2 sensor. They checked and the part was available, so they took care of it same day. Of course they included the usual clear explanations, along with rides to and from the Caltrain station.

I scheduled a simple oil change, but luckily they noticed I needed 4 new tires....right away! they ordered them, got them on and aligned and I was on my way! I am so please that they are always so thorough and that they keep customers informed about what needs to be done, now or in the future. Totally trust this place!!

I recently brought my car in for brake work. Tom was clear and straightforward in giving me a quote beforehand and keeping me posted while the work was being done. His system of keeping track of upcoming maintenance items and rating them with a numerical scale (e.g., 1 = needed immediately, 2 = within 10,000 miles, etc) is very helpful.
